Our inaugural Chair of Trustees, Paul Hill, was previously the Chair of Governors at The Brier School since 2018, and has been a school governor for 23 years as of 2025.

Before early-retiring in 2023, Paul worked his whole career for a well-known global technology giant. Over that time, he held various lead engineering positions and looked after their technical client relationships with Education, Local Government and Healthcare customers in the UK, so has always had a passion for supporting the Public Sector ethos.

As well as holding numerous IT Industry certifications, Paul trained in Computer Science and obtained his bachelor’s degree from The University of Kent; is a Member of the Chartered Institute for IT, the British Computer Society [MBCS]; and is a member of MENSA. Paul now spends his time volunteering in the community, working itinerantly for Dudley MBC at Elections, and attending as many theatre shows as possible!
